Another rare nice example of an early Les Ephgrave touring bicycle. Hand-built by one of England's finest lightweight bike frame builders that appeared in London just after World War 2. From a private collection and is now for sale.
The frame number: LE1347, is clearly stamped on the frame under the bottom bracket . The original paintwork and makers transfers show the Averley Works 'A' head transfer.
It is equipped with quality parts as follows:
William crankset, Campagnolo Gran-Sport 5 speed rear derailleur, Campagnolo large flange hubs with quick release skewers, Harden aluminium 27 inch rims, GB Courier calliper brakes, Bluemels mudguards, Webb pedals and Brooks Competition leather saddle.
